Field mice are so small that their holes are just a couple inches. I had one sticking is head between the tub and sink one time when I was on the toilet, so I just screamed at him and he stopped coming in. We have an old oak tree on the other side of our backyard fence which houses many, many squirrels. I think they're really cute (except when they're digging up my flowers!). Some of them are pretty funny and I get a kick out of watching them. He was in the attic one day trying to figure out how to catch them when one of them "surprised" him. He beat it to death with a stick. Literally. A little harsh I know, but nothing else was working.
