The Prima Princessa DVD is a dream come true for little girls!!
Dancing. . . dressing up. . .music. . .pretty princesses. . .and a cartoon ballerina bringing it all together!!
Ali and I reviewed this DVD today, and she LOVED it – she excitedly told me over and over, “They’re Dancing, Mommy!!! They’re holding hands, Mommy!!”.
Although I knew she would like it, I had low expectations of being entertained myself, as we all know that children’s DVD’s can sometimes be. . . what’s a nice word. . .inane.
However, it was quite interesting – they did a great job of being entertaining to kids without being silly. It had real clips of a “Swan Lake” performance by the Paris Opera Ballet, and they explained the storyline throughout. The performance is interspersed among clips of children taking ballet lessons and little girls having fun in tutus. It is really great, and a complete hit for little girls who love ballet, princesses, dressing up, or music!
